Operating instructions

• Pull up on the cover to remove it. (Fig. 1)
• Connect AC adapter to the DC socket. (Fig. 2)
• Add water to the tank with the included measuring
cup.
Make sure the water does not exceed the max
line (400ml).
• Do not add water while in use. Only use water
below 40°C. We reccomend 1 to 3 drops of
VortCare essential oil per 100ML of water. You can
apply additional drops to fit your tastes. (Fig. 3)
• Re-install the cover and rotate it to guide the aroma
into the desired direction. Do not use your
VortEssence Design without its cover. (Fig. 4)
• Connect the AC adapter into a power outlet.
• Press the "MIST" button to turn the Sonic Cloud
diffuser on.
repeatedly press the "MIST" button and choose
between a 1 hour, 3 hour, 6 hour timer or
continuous operation. To adjust the mist intensity
hold the "MIST" button until the diffuser beeps
(one beep for high and two beeps for low). To
switch off, repeatedly press 'MIST' through the
following cycle until it turns off.
(1 hour->3 hour->6 hour->Continuous->Off)(Fig. 5)
• If the water runs out, Hydro-Safe will intervene and turn the unit off automatically.
• Press the "LIGHT" button once to turn on the
automatically. While the light is in cycle mode, press the button again to lock in the
current color. Press the button repeatedly to switch between the seven available
colors and their two brightness levels. To turn the light off either cycle through all the
available colors or hold the "LIGHT" button for two seconds until the light goes
out.(Fig. 6)
Note: If you do not use your VortEssence for a long time, please pour out the remaining
water, clean the unit with fresh water, and dry it.
