Checking what's in the box

Please check that you've received the
following supplied accessories:
• AM loop antenna
• FM wire antenna
• Power cord (not applicable to the
Singapore and Malaysia models) x2
VSX-D712/D812/D912-K
ROUND 2P type and Australian type
VSX-D712/D812/D912-S
ROUND 2P type and Straight type
• J shape plug
(VSX-D712/D812/D912-K only) x 1
• Dry cell batteries (AA size IEC R6) x2
• Remote control
• Microphone (VSX-D912 only)
• Microphone stand (VSX-D912 only)
• These operating instructions

Installing the receiver

Please note the following points:
• Do not place objects directly on top of this
unit. This prevents proper heat dispersal.
• When installing on a rack, shelf, etc., be
sure to leave more than 20 cm. of space
above the receiver.

Making cable connections

Make sure not to bend the cables over the top
of this unit (as shown in the illustration). If this
happens, the magnetic field produced by the
transformers in this unit may cause a
humming noise from the speakers.
