How to adjust display contrast

Contrast of the display is automatically adjusted depending on the ambient temper-
ature. To obtain optimum readability, the contrast can be adjusted manually. To
change the contrast, the LCD display must be in idle mode.
• To increase contrast, hold the [E] button pressed and use simultaneously the [
button for adjusting.
• To decrease contrast, hold the [E] button pressed and use simultaneously the [
button for adjusting.

The selected contrast tuning value is not stored. After power-off cycling of the relay
the contrast setting automatically returns to the factory preset value.

How to use push-buttons

The MMI includes push-buttons for manoeuvring the protection relay.
