Healthy enjoyment
Measure off the optimum amount of
oil, without any further aids, using the
integrated dosing system.
The inner ring indicates an amount
equivalent to one teaspoon of oil and the outer ring one tablespoon
of oil.
Basic information
Screwed fi ttings can become loose over time. These can, however, easily
be tightened using a standard screwdriver. Preheat the cookware at no
higher than a medium heat. Empty cookware may reach temperatures
of up to 500 °C very quickly, particularly on induction hobs. Use the
residue heat to obtain optimum effi ciency while cooking. Adjust the
heat setting to lower power after the pot was heated up, or keep to use
the low power for cooking after the pot was heated up.
Information for induction stoves
A humming noise may be heard when using induction cookware. This
noise is due to technical reasons and is not an indication of a defect in
your stove or cookware. The pot's bottom diameter must match the
size of the cooking zone, otherwise the cooking zone (magnetic fi eld)
may not respond to the pot's bottom, especially if the bottom diameter
is smaller. Make sure that the pot is always placed in the centre of the
induction cooking zone.
Frying without fat
Briefly heat the cookware at a
medium temperature then add
a few drops of cold water to the
cookware. The ideal temperature
has been reached when these drops of water "bubble" and "dance".
The food can be placed in the cookware, once the drops of water have
evaporated. Push down hard on the food, it becomes unstuck after a
few minutes and can then be turned. Now turn down the heat and cook
the food until done.
When frying with fat
Always put the fat into the empty cookware before heating it up. Then
heat it up. Turn down the heat when the fat begins to smoke lightly.
Then lay the food to be fried into the cookware.
Cooking
Particularly gentle and water-effi cient cooking is possible thanks to
the extra thick sandwich base with energy guiding grooves. To do this,
turn the lid in one direction until the spout locks and the rising steam
no longer escapes. The steam then cools on the glass lid and drips back
onto the food. You should therefore avoid removing the lid too frequently.
