Wi-Fi Settings
This menu is mainly used in the initial connection of your system to
your home Wi-Fi network.

Wi-Fi On/Off?
Turns the broadcast of information from the
control ON or OFF. If this is set OFF, you will not be able to commu-
nicate with the system via the RainSoft Remind app and network.
Note: All communication to and from the control is encrypted for
your safety.
Mobile App Connect?
Selecting YES provides a temporary direct
Wi-Fi connection with a nearby smart phone or tablet. The control
will not communicate via your home Wi-Fi network while this tempo-
rary connection is active. This direct connection is used for network
setup and system service only.
Registration Status
This item shows whether or not your device has been connected via
the Rainsoft Remind app This information is informational only and
cannot be changed directly.
Network Status
In the Wi-Fi Menu, scroll down to see Network Status. This will
change from No SSID to the assigned IP address when connected to
the home Wi-Fi Network. This item is informational only and cannot
be changed directly

Setting Up Your Rainsoft Remind
Account And Wi-Fi Connection
Your RainSoft EC5 Conditioner has the capability to use your home
Wi-Fi network to communicate with your smart phone or tablet. In
order to use this capability, you have to connect the EC5 conditioner
to your network. You will need:
• The SSID (network name) and password for your home network;
• The RainSoft Remind app downloaded to your phone or tablet.
Use your smart phone or tablet to search for and install the free
RainSoft Remind app (available for iPhone, iPad, and Android-based
devices).
