OM System Check -- The OM System check ensures the optical sensor and controller
are functioning properly. By using the light and dark reference block the range of the
sensor can be determined. For proper operation the range from the dark to light side for
the red and IR readings must be at least 100. If it is not that may indicate a broken
wearplate, inadequte power, or damaged sensor. Run the system check before
mapping each field to ensure proper operation. The results of the system check are
stored in a .setup file specific for each field.
Select OM under the Sensor Checks drop down to start system check.
