Operation of the CD changer controls
Basic operations
1. Play button ( ,111 ) . . ..a
When the play/pause button is pressed, the power will be switched on, [ b
appear in the display, and play will automatically begin.
When the changer is used for the first time, or when the CD magazine has been
l
changed, play will begin from the first track of the first disc.
2. Disc select (l-1 ) . . ..a
When the (4 ) disc select button is pressed, the selection will advance to the next
3. Tradk select ( IW, W I ) . . ..@I
When the ( .w ) track skip button is pressed, the selection will advance to the
beginning of the next track; and when the ( 144 ) button is pressed, the selection will
return to the beginning of the preceding track.
Note:
If the track skip button ( 144 ) is pressed once 5 seconds or more after the beginning
of a piece of music, that piece of music is played from its beginning.
once less than 5 seconds after the beginning of a piece of music, the preceding
track is played from its beginning.
4. Power-off switch ( roFFl) . ...@
When the power-off ( IOFF] ) switch is pressed, the power will be switched off.
Special operations 1
(PAUSE, SHUFFLE, REPEAT, and SCAN)
1. Pause button ( ,/II ) . . ..a
When the play/pause button ( ,111 ) is pressed during play, [ II ] will appear in the
display and play will be temporarily stopped.
When the play/pause button is pressed once again, play will be resumed from the
point at which it was stopped.
Note:
The power is automatically broken when the pause status has continued for 5
minutes or more and the indication goes out
2. Shuffle play (SHUFFLE) . . ..@I
When the shuffle button (SHUFFLE) is pressed, [SHUFF] will appear in the display,
and the tracks on the disc currently being played will be played in a shuffled order.
The shuffle mode can be cancelled by pressing the shuffle button once again.
3. Repeat playback (REPEAT) . ...@
When the repeat button (REPEAT) is pressed, [RPT] will appear in the display and
the same track will be played repeatedly.
The repeat mode can be cancelled by pressing the repeat button once again.
4. Intro scan play (SCAN) . . ..a
When the scan button (SCAN) is pressed, [SCN] will appear in the display and the
beginning of each consecutive track will be played for approximately 10 seco,nds.
When you find a track to which you wish to listen, press the scan button once again;
the scan operation will stop and play will continue from that point.
