Problem
No shoe wax is
coming out of the
shoe wax container.
During use, an
unpleasant smell /
slight smoke can be
detected.

Warranty and Limitations of Liability

The following are excluded from the warranty: all defects caused by improper handling,
damage or unauthorised attempts at repair. This also applies to normal wear and tear.
We do not accept any liability for damage or consequential damage resulting from:
• Failure to follow the operating instructions
• Non-designated use
• Improper or unsuitable handling
• Repairs which are not carried out properly
• Unauthorised modifi cations
• Use of outside parts or spare parts
• Use of unsuitable additional parts or accessories

Possible cause
There is no more shoe wax left
in the shoe wax container.
The sphere and spring are
not correctly positioned in the
shoe wax dispenser (4).
Is the device being used for
the fi rst time?
Fix
Refi ll the shoe wax (see the
"Cleaning and Maintenance"
chapter | "Inserting /
Removing the Shoe Wax
Container").
Check whether the sphere
and spring have been inserted
correctly (see the "Cleaning
and Maintenance" chapter
| "Inserting / Removing the
Shoe Wax Container").
An odour or smoke may
frequently be produced
when the device is fi rst used
owing to production-related
additives (e.g. greases). This
is completely normal and will
disappear once the device has
been used several times.
