Exert as little pressure as possible on the hard cleaning brush with the shoes. Too
much pressure may damage the shoes.
If a non-colourless shoe wax is used, the brushes and the shoes which are
subsequently polished may be discoloured.
We recommend the use of colourless shoe wax so that shoes of any colour can
be polished with the shoe wax. Otherwise always make sure you insert the correct
shoe wax container into the device before the shoes are cleaned (see the "Cleaning
and Maintenance" chapter | "Inserting / Removing the Shoe Wax Container")!
1. Dust off coarse dirt from the shoes which are to be cleaned beforehand.
2. Switch on the device by pressing the On / Off switch (9) on the top of the device.
3. Use the hard cleaning brush (7) to remove dirt and dust from the surface of the shoes.
4. To apply shoe wax from the shoe wax container, press the shoe gently against the
sphere on the shoe wax dispenser (4) and move it gently back and forth (Picture B).
5. Polish the shoe with the appropriate cotton brush. Use the left cotton brush (8) for light
shoes and the right cotton brush (3) for dark shoes.
6. Repeat steps 3 – 5 for the second shoe.
7. Switch off the device by pressing the On / Off switch.
8. If the device is not going to be used for a prolonged period, pull the mains plug out of
the plug socket and clean the device (see the "Cleaning and Maintenance" chapter).
