Changing the Front Seat Height
The front seat can be changed to one of two
positions according to your preference.
To change the seat height, use the proper
hex wrench.
In the interest of safety, we recommend that
you have your dealer perform the
adjustment.
1. Remove the front seat.
2. Remove the socket bolts A and seat adjust
plates.
3. Move the adjust plates and install the
socket bolts A in the mounting holes for
your preferred seat position (high or low),
and then tighten them.
Torque: 16 lbf·ft (22 N·m, 2.2 kgf·m).
4. If you change the front seat height from
high position to low position, remove the
socket bolts B/set collars from the seat rail.

(The socket bolts B/set collars are not
required for the low position.)
Make sure to install the socket bolts B/
u
set collars when the seat height is
returned to the high position. Tighten
the socket bolts B if reinstalling.
Torque: 9 lbf·ft (12 N·m, 1.2 kgf·m).
