    ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS BEFORE CONNECTING THE MACHINE TO THE POWER SOURCE, VERIFY THAT THE VOLTAGE OF YOUR POWER SUP- PLY CORRESPONDS WITH THE VOLTAGE SPECIFIED ON THE MOTOR I.D. NAMEPLATE. A POWER SOURCE WITH GREATER VOLTAGE THAN NEEDED CAN RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY TO THE USER AS WELL AS DAMAGE TO THE MACHINE.

    PLACEMENT WITHIN THE SHOP / SAFETY ZONE THIS DUST COLLECTOR MODEL 10-950 IS HEAVY. DO NOT OVER-EXERT. A HOIST OR FORKLIFT WITH STRAPS SHOULD BE USED TO LIFT THIS MACHINE. TO LIMIT THE RISK OF SERIOUS INJURY OR DAMAGE TO THE MACHINE, ANY EQUIPMENT USED TO LIFT THIS MACHINE SHOULD HAVE A RATED CAPACITY IN EXCESS OF 183 LBS (83 KG).

    USING THE POWER SWITCH TO PREVENT ANY USE OF THE MACHINE BY AN UNAUTHORIZED PERSON, IT IS RECOMMENDED TO REPLACE THE LOCK PIN AND UNPLUG THE COLLECTOR FROM THE POWER SOURCE WHEN THE MACHINE IS NOT USED. To start the machine: Lift the red stop panel C, remove the pin A as shown and then push on the green start button B.

    MAKE SURE THE MACHINE HAS BEEN TURNED OFF AND UNPLUGGED FROM THE POWER SOURCE BEFORE PER- FORMING ANY MAINTENANCE. All accessories mentioned in this section are available from your General International distributor or our Parts De- partment - contact information can be found on the last page of this manual.

    CLEANING THE DUST TRAYS TIP: RESIDUE IN THE DRAWERS MAY BE HAZARDOUS TO HEALTH. IT IS RECOMMENDED TO WEAR GLOVES AND RESPIRATORY PROTECTION BEFORE HANDLING AND CLEANING THE DUST DRAWERS OF YOUR MACHINE. To empty the dust tray remove it as shown. Make To open the access door C pull the two levers A and sure to re-install it before closing the door.
