Click a text effect.
The text effect is displayed on the Text preview monitor. Check how it
appears.
Repeat steps 2 through 3 to create the desired text effect and then
proceed to step 4.
Note
If the font size is too large or the text is too long to display within the Text preview
monitor, change the font size to a smaller one or make the text shorter.

Drag the text effect you want to apply to a scene and drop it on
the Edit tray monitor.
The text effect you created is applied to a scene, and the Effect range
marker and the Effect knobs appear. You can move the Effect knobs.
The text effect appears for the duration of the trimmed portion of a
scene.
The frame of the text effect appears on the monitor.

Drag the Effect knobs to specify the starting or ending point.
The image displayed on the monitor also changes as the knob is
dragged.

Click the Play button.
Check if the text effect is applied to the scene properly.
z Hints
• The sample folder (in the default setting; C:\Program
Files\Sony\MovieShaker\Samples) contains a white background file (white.bmp)
and a black background file (black.bmp). These files can be used effectively as
backgrounds when creating title scenes for a final movie product.
• By double-clicking the text effect, the "Text Setting" dialog (dialogue) box appears.
You can once again enter a text, change the font and colors (colours), etc.
