Loading Batteries Set the batteries with the following procedure. 1. Open the battery compartment cover 2. Insert batteries in place checking both polarity (+ and -). 3. Close the battery cover Note: Replace the batteries immediately when the low-battery mark on the LCD appears. Measurements while the low-battery mark is lit may affect the accuracy, possibly resulting malfunction of the thermometer. - Page 8 ⚫ Measurement 1. Slide the lens cover to open.
