4.5.3 Configuring Remote Access to Sentinel License Manager

4.5.3.1 Configuring Broadcast Search for Remote Licenses
By default, Sentinel License Manager works with Broadcast Search for Remote Licenses enabled. To make
sure it is really so, open Sentinel Admin Control Center.
In the web app, select Configuration (Fig. 51), and then the Access to Remote License Managers tab.
By default, the Allow Access to Remote Licenses and Broadcast Search for Remote Licenses checkboxes
must be ticked.
4.5.3.2 Configuring Aggressive Search for Remote Licenses
In case license search must be performed on a single computer within the network perform the following
(Fig. 52):
• Tick the Allow Access to Remote Licenses and Aggressive Search for Remote Licenses
checkboxes
• Untick the Broadcast Search for Remote Licenses checkbox
• In the Specify Search Parameters field, type the network key server IP address or DNS name.
• Click Submit.
