3-4 EXTRACTION OF AIR IN REFRIGERANT TUBES AND REFRIGERANT CHARGE
MCW 2.0 is preloaded for a refrigerating line length between a minimum of 2 m and a maximum
of 10 m. It is forbidden to install the machines with less than 2 m of refrigeration line.
The installer must be equipped with:
Pump for vacuuming refrigeration systems
better if double-stage, equipped with a check
valve in case the power supply stops or in any
case the switch-off pump is turned off.
Suitable manifold in relation to the refrigerant
gas loaded in the system in which it operates.

operation; using the service socket, connect the
pipe to the service connection of the outdoor unit
and to the inlet of the manifold intercepted by the
blue tap with the word "LOW". Now, connect the
pipe to the vacuum pump and to the inlet of the
manifold intercepted by the yellow tap with the
word "VAC".
3.
Vacuum gauge connection; if an electronic
vacuum gauge is used to measure the good
vacuum degree, connect a fitting of this to one of
the unused pipes of the manifold, for example the
red high pressure pipe intercepted by the red tap
with the writing "HIGH". The other connection not
connected to the detector must be kept closed.
4.
Remove the power supply to the units; Make sure
that the condensing and evaporating unit are not
powered electrically (ensure accurate control).
5.
Checking the closure of the taps of the outdoor
unit; Make sure that the shut-off cocks of the
outdoor unit (brass shut-off cocks) are perfectly
closed (provide for an accurate check of the cocks
with an appropriate Allen key).
6.
Check the connection pipes and vacuum level

the pump; Activate the vacuum pump. To connect
the two pipes and therefore the low pressure side
with the vacuum pump:
- Open the blue tap with the word "LOW" on the
manifold.
- Open the yellow tap with the "VAC" writing on the
manifold.
Keep the faucet in the connection pipe to the outdoor
unit closed, in this way, with the vacuum pump running,
the blue and yellow connection pipes are vacuumed.
