1-7 PRODUCT RECEPTION AND HANDLING
The equipment is supplied on a wooden pallet and protected by cardboard packaging. The following are also supplied:
- Installation, use and maintenance manual complete with warranty conditions and EC declaration
- Anti-vibration feet, water filter, gas fittings for indoor unit (in models where necessary).
- Documentation of the unit (inside its packaging).
- Connection diagram (adhesive label placed on the inside of the inspection panel).
The Use and maintenance booklet is
an integral part of the equipment; it is
recommended to read it and to keep it
with care. Remove the packaging only
with the equipment in the installation
position. Once the packaging has been
removed, the handling must be carried
out by qualified personnel and equipped
with equipment suitable for the weight
of the structure. The handling of the
condensing unit is allowed only with the
equipment kept in a vertical position.

1-8 NOTES ON MAINTENANCE

Check that the maintenance area or installation area
meets the requirements of the nameplate.
It is allowed to operate only in environments that
meet the requirements of the nameplate
Check that the installation area is well ventilated.
- The state of continuous ventilation must be
maintained during the operating process.
1-9 NOTES ON WELDING
If you have to cut or weld the refrigeration system
pipes in the maintenance process, follow the steps
as follows:
1. Turn off the unit and disconnect the power supply.
2. Collect the refrigerant gas
3. Clean the piping with nitrogen
4. Cut or weld
5. Make the vacuum
6. Proceed with the charge of refrigerant R32

Do not dispose of packaging parts in the
environment or leave them within the
reach of children as they are potential
sources of danger. Dispose of the
packaging according to the regulations
in force in the country.

Check upon receipt that there are no
transport and / or handling damage
and that the required accessories are
present inside the packaging.
Check that there is a flammable or potentially
flammable source in the installation area.
- Open flames are prohibited in the installation area.
- Replace warning labels if vague or damaged.
Attention:
- For the piping clean and further recharge of Gas
please refeer to the further indication at pag. 20;
- The welding operation must be carried out by
qualified personnel;
- The refrigerant must be recycled in the specialized
storage tank;
- Make sure there is no open flame near the vacuum
pump outlet and that the environment is well
ventilated.
