Safety Information
WARNING!
Risk of Injury or Damage
Improper handling of lithium batteries may cause
injury or damage.
– Do not open the battery housing as damaging
the cell or circuitry may develop excessive heat.
– Lithium batteries that are defective, have been
damaged or might produce excessive heat or
fire, are not allowed for transportation.
– In case the battery turns hot, disconnect it and
avoid contact.
– Do not crush or puncture the batteries as it
may ignite.
Charging the Battery
If the battery is completely discharged, charging will be
started at a very small rate, which is not sufficient to turn
on the LED that indicates charging. Therefore the charging
process might not be indicated from the beginning and it
may take several hours until the LED turns on.
Battery Indicator
When using with a lithium battery, the indicated battery
capacity below 50% may not correspond to the real battery
state.
Standby Mode
When the battery is not used for a longer period (more than
a week), it enters into a standby mode to save power and
protect the battery from deep discharge.
1. To exit the standby mode connect the battery to the
mains (via the control unit or the external charger) for
approximately 15 seconds before use.

site. The return is required by law and free of
