Note: This function is not supported by all discs. With
some discs the zoom function can only be used with re-
strictions, e.g. only 1 or 2 zoom factors can be activated.
Mode Button (MODE)
Press the MODE button during playback to reach the
MODE and PLAYBACK menu. Select the desired menu
and confi rm with the OK button.
DVD discs offer two options in the MODE menu [OFF,
SHUFFLE] and three options in the REPEAT menu
[CHAPTER, TITLE and OFF].
CD discs also offer two options in the MODE menu
[OFF, SHUFFLE] and three options in the REPEAT menu
[SINGLE, ALL and OFF]. The option PROGRAM can
only be selected if a program has been compiled before-
hand (see also the section on "Program Playback").
Note: After you have selected the desired option, press
the MODE button again to leave the MODE menu.
Repeat A-B Button (A-B)
You can repeat a certain section that you have defi ned
yourself. Press the repeat A-B button (A-B) at the start of
the section that is to be repeated (point A).
Press the repeat A-B button (A-B) again at the end of the
section that is to be repeated (point B).
The section selected between point A and point B is
repeated.
Press the A-B button a third time if you want to switch
off the repeat mode and return to the normal playback

mode.

Note: This function is not supported by all DVDs or by
MP3 discs.
Setting a Bookmark
1. During playback press the bookmark key (MARK). In
the OSD the Bookmark menu appears.
2. Use the direction buttons to select the number of
the bookmark (Bookmark 1, 2&3) and press the OK
button to store the playing time where you would like
to set the bookmark. Up to three different bookmarks
can be set.
3. Press the CLEAR button (CLR) to delete a bookmark.
Press the bookmark button (MARK) to leave the
Bookmark menu.
Playback from a Bookmark
1. Press the bookmark button (MARK).
2. Use the direction buttons to select the bookmark
from which you would like to start playback and then
press OK.
3. Bookmarked positions can be called up at any time
using the bookmark button (MARK).
Note: All bookmarks are deleted when the device is
switched off or the disc removed.
Clear Button (CLR)
With the CLEAR button (CLR) you can delete a number
that you have entered by mistake.
ANGLE / AUDIO
Press the viewing angle button (ANGLE) during DVD
playback to choose between various camera perspecti-

ves if the DVD supports the multi-angle function.
Press the AUDIO button during playback to choose
between different languages if the DVD was recorded in
various languages.
Note: This function is not supported by all discs.
Program (PRG)
Press the PROGRAM button (PRG) in the stop mode.
The corresponding menu appears in the OSD. You can
program up to 12 tracks or chapters. Enter the numbers
of the corresponding tracks (CD) or chapters (DVD) with
the number buttons when the cursor fl ashes in blue in
the fi rst position.
Note: When programming a DVD it is necessary to enter
the track number at ":" and then the chapter number.
Then move the blue cursor to the second position and
proceed in the same way. Once all information has been
entered, move the blue cursor to the PROGR. PLAY fi eld
and press the OK button to start the program.
Note:
1. Repeat or A-B repeat cannot be selected when the
program is being played back.
2. The program function is not supported by all discs
(including MP3 discs).
SEARCH
Press the SEARCH button once or several times to
activate the corresponding OSD.
For DVDs you can use the
the time, chapter or title.
Now enter the corresponding time, chapter or title and
confi rm with the OK button. For CDs you can use the
or
buttons to search for the time or track. Now enter
the corresponding time or track and confi rm with the OK
button.
Note: This function is not supported by all discs.
TITLE (only for DVDs)
With the help of the TITLE button you can call up a title
menu for DVDs. Select the desired chapter/title with the
direction buttons or the number buttons and press the
OK button.
Note: This function is not supported by all discs.

MENU

With the help of the MENU button you can call up a title
menu for DVDs. Select the desired chapter/title with the
direction buttons or the number buttons and press the
OK button.
Note: This function is not supported by all discs.

SUBTITLES

Press the SUBTITLE button during playback to select
between various subtitle languages if the DVD supports
various subtitle languages. With this button you can also
switch the subtitles off.
