The back button
The button
is integrated in the bot-
tom left-hand corner of the casing.
It has various functions:
• Pressing and holding switches the Traf-
fic Assist Highspeed to standby and
back on again when in standby mode.
• Depending on the menu context, if
pressed briefly, you will be returned to
the previous entry level.
Map data
The memory card is supplied with the
map data already preinstalled. If you
accidentally erase maps or would like to
store the map data on another memory
card, this is available on the DVD
supplied. You can install it using the
installation program on the DVD.
Loaded map
The map currently loaded can be called up
directly from Traffic Assist Highspeed
and if required, another country can be set
(see also page 49).
Installation program
There is a map installation program on
the map DVD. Once the DVD is inserted
in a personal computer's DVD drive, this
program will usually start up automatical-
ly. The program guides you through the
installation process.
Otherwise, you will have to start the pro-
gram manually.

> Open Windows
Explorer.
> Select your DVD drive folder.
> Double-click on the "Setup.exe" file.
GENERAL OPERATIONS
Transferring files
Files can be transferred indirectly via the
memory card or directly via the USB port.
Note:
Only the maps supplied in the Traffic As-
sist Highspeed may be used. The installa-
tion or transfer of files or programs which
limit or modify the function of the Traf-
fic Assist Highspeed is prohibited!
Transferring using the SD
card reader
The simplest and fastest form of transfer is
to use a standard SD card reader (does not
fall within the scope of supply). The
memory card is plugged into this.
The files required are then saved on
the memory card using the computer's
software.
