Setting up the circulation operation
If the pressure is too high or too low, proceed as follows:
Bring the lever into rest position (vertical position).

Operate the OFF switch and

Inform the Bosch Rexroth service.


Commissioning the hydraulic power unit

9.6.1

Prerequisites:

 The hydraulic power unit is filled and ready for operation.
 The power supply and installation have been properly completed.
 The functional test has been completed.
 No tools, cleaning cloths or other objects must lie on the WS290 training
system.
 Electric motor fan grid is free of objects or contamination.
 Accessibility and functioning of the EMERGENCY OFF pushbuttons
are ensured.
 The locking devices of the transport rollers are locked
The max. admissible total weight of the WS290 training system in the
operating state (incl. attachments and device sets) is 500 kg!
If the WS290 training system is moved, the max. total weight is limited to 450
kg.
9.6.2

How to commission the hydraulic power unit:

Upon switch-on of the pump drive, the hydraulic power unit with 1.5 kW drive
power generally requires "circulation operation" (pressure relief).
In the first start-up of the hydraulic pump and after filling of the oil tank, the
system must firstly always be operated in circulation operation.
1. Circulation with "circulation circuit"
With the P/T distributor with "circulation circuit", the circulation can easily be pre-
selected by means of a switch-over lever:
 Position A = closed (vertical position).
 Position B = circulation operation - open (horizontal position).
