PRODUCTS
The shelf life of frozen products
depends on their freshness before
f r e e z i n g a n d o n t h e s t o r a g e
temperature.
The following storage periods are
recommended if products are kept at a
temperature of –18 °С or less:

FREEZING FRUIT
The refrigerator's freezer may be used
to:
• f r e e z e s m a l l f r u i t s , s u c h a s
strawberries;
• make a small amount of ice cubes
using special bags.
The ice cubes will be transparent as
long as boiled water is used.
Place frozen fruit (after approx. one day
has elapsed) in a bag and store it in the
refrigerator's freezer compartment.
DEFROSTING FROZEN PRODUCTS
Depending on the product and its
intended use, a product can be
defrosted in the refrigerator's cooling
compartment, in a bowl of warm water,
i n a m i c r o w a v e o v e n , a t r o o m
temperature or in the oven;
Fruits and vegetables to be cooked
need no defrosting;
Defrosted products should be used the
same day or stored in the refrigerator
untill the next day.
Partially thawed products should not be
refrozen.
Meals based on defrosted products
may be frozen.
