1. Top Vent - Horizontal Termination
One Elbow
Note: Use SLP Series
components only.
Fire Risk.
• When using SLP-HRC-SS termination cap on top
vented fireplaces, a one foot minimum vertical
vent section is required before installing first
elbow.
• Elbow heat shield required when V1 is less than
1-1/2 ft. Clearances to combustibles MUST be
maintained. See Section 5.A.

Note: When using SLP-FLEX (6-5/8 in.) venting, there
MUST be a 25% reduction in total H when using flex vent.
