• After this, you can reconnect the gooseneck holder to the board mains and take it into
operation.
• Should the fuse trigger again, have the gooseneck holder repaired in a specialised workshop.

b) Cleaning

• Clean the exterior of the device with a soft, dry cloth or brush only.
Never use any aggressive cleaning agents, cleaning alcohol or other chemical
solutions, since these may damage the casing or even impair function.

12. Troubleshooting

With the Renkforce car receiver, you have purchased a product built to the state of the art and
operationally safe. If you encounter any problems or interferences nevertheless, the following
explanations may help in troubleshooting.
No function, the device cannot be switched on
• The cigarette lighter plug is not properly inserted in the cigarette lighter.
• The USB cable is not properly connected to the power supply USB port (11).
• The cigarette lighter is not supplied with power.
• The fuse of the cigarette lighter plug on the gooseneck holder has tripped. Replace the fuse
as described above.
When calling up a station, playback remains mute
• The stored station has no reception (possibly due to a change of location). Start a station
scan.
• The DAB aerial was placed in an unsuitable place (e.g. too close to the vehicle's sheet metal
parts or behind a metal-vaporised vehicle window).
• The aerial plug has come loose from the aerial connection (8). Check connection.
