Fault Confirmation Criteria
• If the load is not
balanced during spin-
dry
• If the water level
SENSOR is defective
(open, short)
• If the door is open
• If the door is not
locked
Possible causes of faults
1. If the load is not distributed evenly in
the tub (DRUM ASM) but is
concentrated on one side
2. If the washing machine is installed
on a slanted surface
1. Water supply valve fault (if water
supply continues)
2. If the water level SENSOR is faulty
1. If the connector connected to the
water level SENSOR or blue 6-pin
connector of the controller is
disconnected, or it has a contact fault
2. If the water level SENSOR device is
faulty
3. If the controller is faulty
4. If the displayed water level is 10.0
kHz or below or 30.0 kHz or above
after you press the Start button to
disable PE temporarily, shift to
LQC mode within 3 seconds (normal
range: 21.3 kHz–30.0 kHz).
1. If the connector connected to the
DOOR S/W or the controller
connector is disconnected, or it has
a contact fault
2. If the DOOR S/W ASM device is faulty
3. If the product is operated with the
door open, the operation is
scheduled, or the load is high

Action
• Make sure the load is
distributed evenly
in the tub.
• Adjust the height of the
legs to ensure that
the machine is even.
• Replace the water
supply valve.
• Replace the water level
SENSOR.
• Remove the water and
contaminants
remaining in the
SENSOR HOSE (blow
at the end of the
hose).
• Reconnect the
connector and correct
the poor connection.
• Replace the water level
SENSOR.
• Replace the controller.
• Replace the water level
sensor and go to the
Check Program
specified in p. 13, 5-2.
and initialize the
controller (Press the
Start button within 3
seconds of entering the
Check Program to
prevent the recurrence
of PE).
• Reconnect the
connector and correct
the poor connection.
• Replace the DOOR S/W.
• Make sure the DOOR is
closed.
