INSTALLATION & MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
1. Check fan for possibility of transit damage.
2. Ensure that the duct is clear of any debris that could be drawn into the fan
impeller.
3. Check the fan is free to rotate.
4. Fans have a manual reset thermal overload device fitted as standard.
5. All fans are provided with sealed-for-life ball bearings and are virtually
maintenance free.
6. This product is supplied with a 3-pin plug and lead.
7. Do not operate if the supply cord has been damaged.
Please return to manufacturer or service agent for repair.
8. The Licensed Electrical installer must ensure that an approved means of
disconnection be incorporated into the fixed wiring.

9. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
10. For duct or partition mount, precautions must be taken to avoid the back-
flow of gases into the room from the open flue of gas or other open-fire
appliances.
11. The Minitube range of duct fans must be fitted with a minimum of 1m of
duct to both inlet and outlet spigots.
12. After starting check for excessive vibration.
