2 Insert the power supply module into the power supply bay.

3 Push the power supply module into the power supply bay until it locks into place.

Removing a Power Supply Module

Follow this procedure to remove a power supply module from the C5215 controller:
Caution
You can hot-swap the power supply without turning the system down only if the system is
configured with two power supply modules. Both power supply modules need to be
operating in a 1+1 Redundant configuration.
Note
Currently, the C5215 controller unit ships with just one power supply and you have the option
to purchase the additional power supply (order part number 30522 WS-PSI-C5215-750W-01).
Danger
Systems with a single power supply installed or a system operating in a 2+0 non-redundant
power mode, MUST be powered OFF before removing the power supply from the system.

Detach the power cord from the power supply unit to be removed.
