1) Getting started - initial set up
1. Use the inputs on the rear panel of the soundbar to connect external
audio and video devices equipped with the corresponding outputs (Pic.
1). You will achieve the best sound quality by using the digital inputs
OPTICAL and HDMI.
Caution! Turn all devices off and disconnect them from the power supply
before starting any connection.
2. Connect power cord to the power adapter, then connect power adapter
to the DC IN socket of the unit and as last step connect power adapter
into a mains socket.
3. Use the other power cord to connect the subwoofer to the mains
socket.
4. Insert the battery into the remote control.
5. Press the
button on the remote control to switch the main unit ON
or OFF.
6. Press the
button on the unit repeatedly or press the LINE/USB, OPT/
BT, HDMI/ARC buttons on the remote control to select the desired
mode.
2) Remote control
1.
STANDBY – Press to switch on the unit. Press again to put the unit in
to standby mode.
2. LINE/USB – Press repeatedly to switch between LINE IN and USB mode.
3. +/- – Increase/decrease the volume level.
4.
PREVIOUS – Press to return to the previous track.
5.
PLAY/PAUSE – Press to temporarily pause a playback. Press it
again to resume the playback. Hold down this button for 3 seconds to
disconnect bluetooth.
6. EQUALIZER – press repeatedly to switch among Music/Movie/News
equalizer modes.
7. MUTE – Press to temporarily switch off the sound. Press it again to
switch it on.
8. OPTICAL/BT – Press repeatedly to switch between Optical and
Bluetooth mode.
9.
NEXT – Press to skip to the next track.
10. HDMI/ARC – Press repeatedly to switch between HDMI IN and HDMI
OUT(ARC) mode.
3) Controls

Select the Bluetooth mode.

Increase/decrease the volume level.
Pairing the Wireless Subwoofer with the Main Unit
Automatic pairing
The subwoofer and soundbar will automatically pair when both units are
plugged into the supply and turned on. No cable is needed for connecting
the two units.
– When the subwoofer is pairing with the main unit, the Pairing Indicator
will fl ash fash.
– When the subwoofer is paired with the main unit, the Pairing Indicator
will light up.
NOTE:
– If the automatic pairing fails, pair the subwoofer with the main unit
manually.
Manual pairing
Press the PAIR button on the rear of the subwoofer.
Bluetooth Operation
Pair Bluetooth-enabled Devices
The fi rst time you connect your Bluetooth device to this player, you need to
pair your device to this player.
1. Turn on the soundbar by pressing the standby button.
2. Press the button on the unit or OPT/BT button on the remote control
to select Bluetooth mode. You are in Bluetooth mode when you see
letters BT--- fl ashing on the display.
3. Enter the Bluetooth search mode on the device you wish to connect to
the soundbar.
4. Select SHARP HT-SBW260 from the list
5. Enter password "0000", if required.
6. Your device and the soundbar will now be connected.
7. Begin playing music from the connected Bluetooth device.

1) Erste Schritte - Ersteinrichtung
1. Nutzen Sie die Eingänge an der Rückseite der Soundbar, um externe
Audio- und Video-Geräte, die mit den entsprechenden Ausgängen
ausgerüstet sind, anzuschließen (Abb. 1). Die beste Tonqualität
erreichen Sie mit den digitalen Eingängen OPTICAL und HDMI.
Vorsicht! Schalten Sie alle Geräte aus und trennen Sie sie von der
Stromversorgung, bevor Sie irgendeine Verbindung herstellen.
2. Verbinden Sie das Netzkabel mit dem Netzadapter, verbinden
Sie anschließend den Netzadapter mit dem Anschluss DC IN
[Wechselstromeingang] des Geräts und verbinden Sie zuletzt den
Netzadapter mit einer Steckdose.
3. Benutzen Sie das andere Netzkabel, um den Subwoofer an die
Steckdose anzuschließen.
4. Legen Sie die Batterie in die Fernbedienung ein.
5. Drücken Sie die
Taste auf der Fernbedienung, um die Haupteinheit
ein- oder auszuschalten (ON/OFF).
6. Drücken Sie mehrmals die
Taste auf der Einheit oder die Tasten
LINE/USB, OPT/BT, HDMI/ARC auf der Fernbedienung, um den
gewünschten Modus auszuwählen.
2) Fernbedienung
1.
STANDBY – um Einschalten des Geräts drücken. Drücken Sie die
Taste erneut, um die Einheit in den Stand-by-Modus zu versetzen.
2. LINE/USB – wiederholt drücken, um zwischen den Modi LINE IN und
USB umzuschalten.
3. +/- – Lautstärke regulieren.
4.
PREVIOUS – Drücken, um zum vorherigen Track zurückzukehren.
5.
PLAY/PAUSE – Drücken, um die Wiedergabe vorübergehend anzu-
halten. Erneut drücken, um mit der Wiedergabe fortzufahren. Halten
Sie diese Taste für 3 Sekunden gedrückt, um die Bluetooth-Verbindung
zu trennen.
6. EQUALIZER – wiederholt drücken, um zwischen den Equalizer-Modi
„Music" (Musik)/„Movie" (Film)/„News" (Nachrichten) umzuschalten.
7. MUTE – Drücken, um den Ton vorübergehend auszuschalten. Erneut
drücken, um ihn wieder einzuschalten.
8. OPTICAL/BT – wiederholt drücken, um zwischen optischem Modus
und Bluetooth-Modus umzuschalten.
9.
NEXT – Drücken, um den nächsten Track abzuspielen.
10. HDMI/ARC – wiederholt drücken, um zwischen den Modi HDMI IN
[HDMI-Eingang] und HDMI OUT (ARC) [HDMI-Ausgang (ARC)] umzus-
chalten.
