Normal Behaviour
Microwave interfering
with TV reception when
running
Dim Oven light
Steam accumulating on
door and hot air out of
vents
Oven started
accidentally with no
food in
Problem
Oven will not start
Oven does not
heat
Glass turntable
makes a noise
when the oven
operates
Radio and TV reception may be interfered
when microwave is operating. It is similar
to interference from other small electric
appliances such as electric fans and is
normal.
In low power microwave cooking, the oven
light may become dim. This is normal
In cooking, water is released from the food
as steam, and most will exit via the vents,
but some will accumulate in cold places
such as the door. This is normal.
The oven should not be operated without
any food inside, as it is very dangerous.
Possible cause
Power cord not fully
inserted
Fuse blowing, or circuit
breaker tripped
Trouble with socket
Door not fully closed
Dirty roller rest or oven
bottom

Remedy
Unplug and plug back in
after 10 seconds
Replace fuse or reset circuit
breaker
Test Socket with other
electrical appliances
Ensure door is fully closed
and sealed before operating
Refer to "Cleaning" section
for advice on cleaning dirty
parts
