C. This will now expose the steel sub-door panel.
You may find this is comp\etely or partially cov-
ered by brown or black pape~ secured with a
sticky-black, tar-Iike adhesive. Do not tear this
paper off. It is there to insulate the door, trap
moisture and reduce wind noise. Carefully un-
peel the paper (do not do this if speaker open-
ings are exposed). You should now be able to
see all the varied size openings available in the
sub-steel of the door. The reason for exposing all
the existing holes is to avoid cutting metal unless
it is absolutely necessary.
D. Now see which existing holes will accept the
speakers you have. Place speaker into opening
and while holding speaker in place, raise and
lower window (re-install window crank) fully.
Check that no moving part touches speaker
while opening or closing window. Now, open and
close door for the same purpose.
E. II your selected location checks out, and you are
satisfied with the location, you can begin the
installation. First, visually check padded door
panel to verify that nothing on it will interfere with
installing the speaker grill.e (an armrest, etc.).
Proceed to step "H" if location is acceptable. If
not, continue on.

Placer le H.P: dans
rouverture et en tenant le H.P; lever et baisser la
vitre (avec la manivelle en place) completement.
Verifier qu'aucune piece (partie) qui bouge
touche le H.P; pendant qu'on ouvre ou qu'on
ferme la vitre. Ensu(te ouvrir et fermer la portiere
pour la meme verification.
E. Si le placement qu~ vous avez choisi est conve-
nable, et,si v~us en etes satisfait, vous pouvez
commencerr1in~tallation.
D'abord, verifier le
panneau rembourre de la portiere pour que rien
ne bloque la grille du H.P; (bras de la banquette,
etc.) Passer au paragraphe H si le placement
choisi est acceptable. Si non, contineur a lire.

aberturas existentes, es para evitar tener que
cortar el metal, a menos queesto fuera
necesario.
D. Ahora vea cuales de las aberturas existentes
aceptiiria el altavoz que usted tiene. Ponga el
altavoz en el agujero y al mismo tiempo que 10
detiene en posici6n Irate de abrir y cerrar la ven-
tana (tendrB. que reinstalar la manija de la ven-
tana) completamente.
Asegurese de que
ninguna parte m6vil este tocando el altavoz al
abrir y cerrar fa ventana. Porsiguiente,
abra y
cierre la puerta con el mismo prop6sito.
E. Si ellugar seleccionado resulta efectivo yes de
su agrado, podrB. entonces iniciar la instalaci6n.
Primeramente, observe detalladamente el panel
acolchonado para verificar que nada pod ria
interferir con la instalaci6n del enrejado del alta-
voz (ya fuere un sosten de brazo, etc.). Si resulta
aceptable ellugar, proceda al paso "H". Si no es
asi, continuemo$.
