5. Add water softening salt
Open the upper cover of the device and check salt feeding
port, salt well and salt-bearing shelf.
Pour water softening salt into the device.
Add 10kg water softening salt for the first time.
After the device is used, open the upper cover and check salt
consumption every month. If it is found that salt is not enough,
please feed it.
NOTE :
Do not use edible salt, because the iodine contained in edible
salt may seriously damage the ion exchange resin and make
the resin in failure.
Do not use industrial-grade salt.
5. Check salt storage
Pay attention to check the amount of salt stored in salt tank and
add new salt timely when the height of salt surface is less than
one fifth of the height of salt tank.
In salt tank, a space is formed under salt layer to form a salt
bridge, so that the salt can not be dissolved in water to form salt
solution during regeneration, affecting the regeneration of resin.
Therefore, the device will not produce qualified soft water. Please
frequently check whether there is a salt bridge at the bottom of
salt tank; if yes, smash and break it.
