▪ Is the power supply functioning properly?
Detailed information on the power supplies is available in the operating instruc-
tions concerned.
▪ Are the ionisers functioning properly?
TIP
w Check function of the ionisers using the ION CHECK function tester (see the operat-
ing instructions for ION CHECK).
▪ Are the ionisers contaminated? Follow the cleaning instructions.

6.3 Troubleshooting the Compressed Air Supply

▪ Are all connections correctly made?
▪ Is the compressed air supply on?
▪ Is the filter control valve open?
▪ Does the manometer at the filter control valve show the correct pressure setting?
▪ Is the filter cartridge of the filter control valve contaminated? Is there dirt, water or
oil in the filter bowl?
▪ Is the connection cable to the magnetic valve intact? Does the magnetic valve
switch on?
▪ Is the magnetic valve actuated correctly (e.g. in case of remote control see circuit
diagram ESUC or if applicable by AIR CONTROL)?

6.4 Troubleshooting the Suction System

Error
Fan of the external suction unit is not turning or insufficient suction power.
Possible causes
▪ Are the suction hoses fitted tightly to the suction connectors?
▪ Are the suction hoses undamaged?
▪ Are the suction hoses constricted, kinked or blocked?
▪ Is a possibly existing throttle valve open?
▪ Is the external fan running or does the external suction unit indicate error?
In this case, consult the operating instructions for the external supply unit.
▪ If necessary, increase the fan speed of the suction unit.
▪ Are the suction unit filters heavily contaminated?

6.5 Cleaning Result Is Unsatisfactory

An unsatisfactory cleaning result can have various causes:
▪ The compressed air supply and therefore the air nozzles are not operating cor-
rectly.
▪ The ionisation is not operating correctly.
