Error Message List
An error message may appear on the screen when using a splicer, the solution precisely as shown in the list below. If it is not
possible to eliminate the problem, maybe some faults occur in the fusion splicer. Consult your sales agency.

Cause
Press the "R" button, and set the fiber end-face between the
electrode centerline and the V-groove edge.
Press the "R" button; re-position the fiber again to seat it cor-
rectly at the bottom of the V-groove.
Consult your nearest sales agency.
Press the "R" button; re-position the fiber again to seat it cor-
rectly at the bottom of the V-groove.
Assure the electrodes are in proper position; Replace the elec-
trodes.
Press the "R" button , re-position the fiber again to seat it
correctly at the bottom of the V-groove.
Press the "R" button , re-position the fiber again to seat it
correctly at the bottom of the V-groove.
Prepare the fiber (stripping, cleaning, and cleaving) again.
Prepare the fiber (stripping, cleaning, and cleaving) again.
Use an appropriate splice mode other than AUTO splice mode
to re -splice.
AUTO splice mode can only identify the standard fibers such
as SM, MM, NZ.
Adjust the fiber position and do "motor calibration" for
maintenance.
Carry out "motor calibration" for maintenance. If the prob-
lem still can' t be solved, contact with agency.
Adjust or initialize [Overlap] setting.
Do [Motor Calibration] maintenance.
Press the "R" button , re-position the fiber again to seat it
correctly at the bottom of the V-groove.
Prepare the fiber (stripping,
Cleaning and cleaving) again.
Execute the [Dust Check] after cleaning the lenses and mirrors.
It may result in large splice loss if you continue to splice,
Please use the proper splice mode corresponding to the fibers.
Prepare the fiber (stripping, cleaning, and cleaving) again.,
Check the condition of the fiber cleaver. If the blade is worn,
rotate the blade to a new position.
Increase the "Cleave Limit" to an adequate limit. (standard
value: 3.0°)
Increase the "Core Angle Limit" to an adequate limit.
(standard value: 1.0°) .
Clean the V-groove or the clamp chip, prepare and reposition
the fiber again.
