6.3 Repairing leaks

Requirement •
1. Prepare a soap solution using unperfumed soap.
2. Open the valve of the oxygen cylinder slowly.
3. Coat all the screw connections with the soap solution.
4. Dry the screw connections with a lint-free cloth.
5. Close the oxygen cylinder.
6. If the sealing ring has a leak: Replace the sealing ring
7. If the safety valve has a leak: Remove the pressure reducer
8. Check again for leaks.
Result The leak has been rectified.
