Scanning busses

Drives may not be seen by ExpressRAID at start-
up, such as when a drive is not powered up. If you
believe other drives are on a bus but are not visible
in the ExpressRAID device window, the busses
can be rescanned. Rescanning the bus checks
every ID of every bus for devices. Any devices
found are displayed in the device window.
To rescan the bus, select the Rescan Bus option
from the Utilities Menu or click the Rescan Bus
button in the main window.

Volume Window

The Volume Window is on the right hand side of
the ExpressRAID main window. It displays all
Macintosh volumes on all SCSI and Fibre
Channel busses. Clicking on a volume in the
volume window highlights the associated drives
in the device window. Next to each item is an
information button.

unmounted volume has an asterisk in front of its
name. Double clicking on a volume or clicking its
