Cause
MEDUMAT Easy defective.
Battery failing.
Airways obstructed.
Kink or obstruction in ventilation
hose/mask/tube.
Tube incorrectly positioned.
MEDUMAT Easy defective.
Ventilation hose leaking/slipped
out.
Mask/tube incorrectly positioned.
Pressure gauge hose leaking/
slipped out.
MEDUMAT Easy defective.
Oxygen cylinder nearly empty.
Oxygen valve closed.
Pressure reducer defective.
Kink or blockage in oxygen hose. Take corrective action.
Battery failing or fuse defective.
Remedy
Arrange for repair.
Replace battery in battery compartment
(10.1, page 57).
If ventilator still refuses to switch on,
have internal auxiliary battery replaced
by manufacturer or authorized
specialists.
Remove obstruction.
Remove kink or obstruction; if
necessary replace parts.
Correct tube position.
Arrange for repair.
Check connections.
Arrange for repair.
Change O
cylinder (5.1, page 18).

Replace pressure reducer.
Replace battery in battery compartment
