• Installation Instructions
Please read these instructions carefully prior to
installation!
Installation should only be carried out by persons
qualified to do so!
Incorrect installation can put the safety of persons at
risk!
In case of improper installation, the manufacturer's
guarantee becomes void.
Preparing for installation
1. The gate must travel without inclination (0 %
gradient).
2. The gate must be guided in such a way that it
does not swing to the side when moving and
comes to a standstill at both travel limits.
3. The foundation must be of an adequate size.
4.
Check the supplied screws and plugs to ensure
that these are suitable for the structural
conditions on site.
5. Empty conduits and cables of the external
devices leading to the control elements (e.g. key
switch) and safety devices (e.g. photocells,
closing edge safety devices) must arrive
underneath the operator.

Required tools
- Drilling machine with 10 mm masonry drill
- Sturdy side cutter
- Metal saw
- Spirit level
- Wrench, size 13
- Slot-head screwdriver 3 mm
- Cross-head screwdrivers PH2 and Ph3

Aligning the operator
Stand the operator on the foundation and align
Cables emerge between the fixing feet 2b. Mark out
the holes and drill with a 10 mm masonry drill. Insert
the plugs.
Position the operator at a distance to the gate, as
specified.
3
Install the track
Mount the operator
3a
.
To facilitate height alignment, insert a pencil at the
side of operator
3b
,
Slide gate along the path of travel, drawing a line at
the same time
3c
.
The drive wheels should locate the centre
!
of the track along the full length of travel and
not butt against the track when in operation.
Check the track length
3d
Move the gate to the closed position: the track should
terminate at least 50 mm next to the operator.
Slide the gate into the opened position: the track
should terminate at least 50 mm next to the operator.
Offer up the track lengths and with a 5.5 mm metal
drill drill through the track and gate frame, deburr and
screw on with the supplied self-tapping threaded
screws (M6 x 16)
3e
.
Connect the track lengths with the tensioning pins
3f
. Fasten the next length of track to the gate
the last length of track to the required size.

Disengage the operator (see control elements).
Feed the other toothed belt end through the end lock
and tension. Mark the point of emergence
return the toothed belt. Lay the toothed belt at
marked point in the toothed belt tensioner, again feed

Connections
Push the cable through the cable lead-throughs,
then insert a piece into the receptacle and tighten the
cable glands.
Mains connection
An all-pole switch-off with fuse to prevent
any inadvertent switching back on must be
fitted.
Connect mains cable to spring clamps L and N.
Screw protective conductor to earthing clamp. Route
remaining cable upwards.
Connection diagram 5c
Do not connect any current-carrying cables,
!
only connect volt-free push buttons or volt-
free relay outputs (exception connection L).
E. Connection for aerial
On using an external aerial, the shielding must
be assigned to the adjacent terminal (F, right).
