2. For PoE
A voltage of 48 V is applied to pins 4, 5, 7, and 8 or pins 1, 2, 3, and 6 of CN301 on the SY-358 board,
rectified using D303 to D310, and input from pins 8 and 9 of CN811 to pins 8 and 9 of CN1 on the PS-
744 board through harnesses. Moreover, the voltage is input to pins 3 and 4 of the AC/DC converter
(SWR1) through IC1 on the PS-744 board. IC1 has a PoE authentication function and switching function.
After PoE is authenticated, IC1 sets an internal FET switch to ON and starts the power supply to the AC/
DC converter (SWR1).
3. Common
A supply voltage of 10 V is output from pin 6 of an AC/DC converter (SWR1), and a power current is
supplied to DC/DC converters DD1 and DD2. Pin 5 of the AC/DC converter (SWR1) is connected to
ground (GND). DD1 converts each voltage from the supplied 10 V voltage to 3.3 V used in the I/O
power of IC101, memory, and peripheral devices, 1.2 V use as the core voltage of IC101, and 2.5 V used
in IC301. DD2 converts each voltage from the supplied 10 V voltage to 3.3 V AFE used in the analog F/
E and timing generator blocks on BI-222 and BI-224 boards, 3.6 V used in a timing generator block, and
5 V used in peripheral circuits and DD3. DD3 converts each voltage from the supplied 5 V voltage to
+15 V and _5.5 V (SNC-DS10) or _8.5 V (SNC-DM110) used in the CCD and timing generator blocks
on the BI-222 and BI-224 boards. Each output voltage of DD1 to DD3 is determined by the values of
resistors R5 to R20 connected to DD1 to DD3.
3-3. BI-222 Board (SNC-DS10)
The CCD-OUT signal (at pin 8 of IC101) output from CCD (IC101) is input to AFE (pin 22 of IC103).
In AFE, the CCD-OUT signal is CDS-processed (correlative double-sampled). Moreover, after the CCD-
OUT signal is amplified using an AGC circuit, it is A/D-converted into ten bits and output. The output
digital signal (at pins 1 to 10 of IC103) is sent to the SY-358 board through pins 17 to 26 of CN101. A
CCD driving pulse is supplied from TG (IC102). A TG driving pulse is supplied from the SY-358 board
to pin 39 of IC102 through pin 4 of CN101. The DC servo lens connected to CN103 is controlled by the
auto iris control circuit on the SY-358 board. The control signal is by-passed from the SY-358 board to a
DC servo lens through pins 27 to 29 of CN101. Various supply voltages used on the BI board are
supplied from the SY-358 board through CN102.
3-4. BI-224 Board (SNC-DM110)
The CCD-OUT signal (at pin 13 of IC101) output from CCD (IC101) is input to AFE (pin 22 of IC103).
In AFE, the CCD-OUT signal is CDS-processed (correlative double-sampled). Moreover, the CCD-OUT
signal is amplified using an AGC circuit, it is A/D-converted into ten bits and output. The output digital
signal (at pins 1 to 10 of IC103) is sent to the SY-358 board through pins 17 to 26 of CN101. A CCD
driving pulse is supplied from TG (IC102). A TG driving pulse is supplied from the oscillator (X101) on
the BI board to pin 39 of IC102. The DC servo lens connected to CN103 is controlled by the auto iris
control circuit on the SY-358 board. The control signal is by-passed from the SY-358 board to a DC
servo lens through pins 27 to 29 of CN101. In the light funnel mode, the prescribed bias voltage is
applied to the SUB (at pin 22 of IC101) of CCD. The bias voltage is supplied from the SY-358 board
through pin 13 of CN101. After the bias voltage is amplified using IC106, it is applied to the SUB signal
output from pin 62 of IC102. In modes other than the light funnel mode, the switch of IC107 is set to
OFF and no external bias is established in the SUB signal. Various supply voltages used on the BI board
are supplied from the SY-358 board through CN102.
