3-1-13. Iris Switch

S402 is an iris selector switch. It is used during focus adjustment of a lens. The iris of a lens is switched
to the open (full open) and ordinary states every time you press this switch. S402 is connected to the I/O
port of IC101. Main CPU (IC101) controls the switching of an iris according to the setting state of S402.

3-1-14. VIDEO OUT Switch

S401 is a VIDEO OUT (video output) selector switch. The operation mode of a camera is switched in
order to IP mode, NTSC + IP mode, PAL + IP mode, IP mode, etc. every time you press this switch. The
VIDEO OUT indicator (D402) display changes in this case.
. IP mode:
An analog video signal is not output from CN201 and CN810.
(The VIDEO OUT indicator goes off.)
. NTSC + IP mode: An NTSC standard-based video signal is output from CN201 and CN810.
(The VIDEO OUT indicator lights in green.)
. PAL + IP mode:
A PAL standard- based video signal is output from CN201 and CN810.
(The VIDEO OUT indicator lights in orange.)
S401 is connected to the I/O port of IC101. Main CPU (IC101) controls the switching of camera opera-
tion mode according to the setting state of S401

3-1-15. Factory Reset Switch

A reset switch (S403) is used to return a system to the factory-setting state. Internal parameters are set to
the factory-setting state when the power is turned on while pressing and holding switch S403. S403 is
connected to the I/O port of IC101. When the power is turned on, main CPU (IC101) controls a system
according to the setting state of S403 so that it is set to the factory-setting state.
3-2. PS-744 Board
3-2-1. Power Block
The circuit operation varies depending on the type of the power to be supplied to the camera.
1. For 12 V DC and 24 V AC
A supply voltage of 12 V DC and 24 V AC is input from a connection cord (for power supply) to CN809
on the SY-358 board and then input to pins 4 to 7 of CN1 on the PS-744 board through the small harness
(SY-PS-9) connected to pins 7 to 4 of CN811 on the SY-358 board. Moreover, the supply voltage is
input to pins 1 and 2 of an AC/DC converter (SWR1) through the fuse (F1) and line filter (LF1) on the
PS-744 board. The fuse (F1) blows out to interrupt an overcurrent when the current supplied to the AC/
DC converter (SWR1) steadily exceeds 2.5 A.
