CLEANING
Clean the tip regularly with the sponge, as the oxides and carbides created
when soldering may cause contamination which may reduce the heat
conduction of the tip or cause damage to it. It is recommended to clean
all oxides from the tip once every week. This helps to ensure damage
prevention and temperature reduction on the end of the tip. Never leave
the tip under high temperatures for a long time as it will be covered with
oxides and reduces the lifetime of the tip.

AFTER USE

Wipe the tip with a wet sponge and lubricate with a solder conductive
additive which will help to protect the device against oxidation.
Note:
The soldering station will turn into sleep mode after it is not in used within
15 mins when the tip will cool down to 200°C. If you move the tip again,
it will heat up again to the previously set temperature. This function
significantly increases the longevity of the tip and the heating parts of the
station.
CHECKING AND CLEANING THE TIP
Set the temperature to appr. 250°C. When the temperature stabilizes, clean
the tip with a wet sponge and check its state. If it is deformed or heavily
corroded, replace it to a genuine FAHRENHEIT tip. Do not rub the oxidewth
any abrasive material because it can damage the special cover of the tip.
