Using the pre-set temperature settings
1. Select the COOK operating mode
2. Press [M/M] the required number of times to select
the right type of meat or manual time setting: Beef
– Pork – Fish – Veal – Lamb – Chicken – Turkey –
Hamburgers – Manual temperature setting
3. Press [T/S] the required number of times to select
the desired cooking temperature: Check the table
of temperature and cooking times on page 23.
The thermometer will emit an audible signal when
the set temperature has been reached.
4. Press any button to turn the signal off.
Manual setting of the temperature
1. Select the COOK operating mode and then press
[M/M] repeatedly to select manual temperature
setting (PGM).
2. Hold down [S/S] for 3 seconds to activate the
manual setting of the temperature.
3. Set the desired temperature by pressing [T/S] to
lower the temperature and [M/M] to increase the
temperature. The temperature is stored auto-
matically (if no button is pressed within 30 seconds).
Using the timekeeping function
1. Set the operating mode selector switch (7) on the
back of the thermometer to [TIMER]
2. Press [S/S] to start time keeping.
3. Press [S/S] again to stop.
4. Press [M/M] and [T/S] at the same time to reset it to zero.

Using the timer function

1. Set the time using [M/M] and [T/S).
2. Press [S/S] to start the timer.
3. Press [M/M] and [T/S] at the same time to reset it to zero.

Care and maintenance

• Clean the thermometer by wiping it with a damp
cloth. Use only mild cleaning agents, never solvents
or corrosive chemicals.
• Whenever the thermometer is not to be used
for an extended period, the batteries should be
removed and it should be stored in a dry, dust-free
environment, out of children's reach.
The probe must never be put into a dishwasher or
washed in running water. It must only be cleaned by
wiping it with a damp cloth. Be careful not to get any
water inside the cable connection of the probe. If water
gets inside the probe it might damage it and cause
inaccurate temperature readings.
