Instructions for use
Batteries
1. Remove the battery cover on the back of the
thermometer and insert 2 x AAA/LR03 batteries
(sold separately). Refer to the markings in the
bottom of the battery compartment to ensure
correct polarity.
2. Refit the battery cover.
The default factory setting of the thermometer is:
Meat: Beef
Cooking temperature: Well
Temperature: 77 °C (170 °F)
Timer: 00 m: 00 s
Connect the temperature probe to the
thermometer
Bear in mind to place the temperature probe tip
in the thickest part of the foodstuff. Do not stick it in
so far that it comes out the other side. Avoid parts
that contain a lot of fat.
• Use protective gloves if you need to handle the
temperature probe or the cable while the food is
being cooked.
• Keep the probe and the cable out of the reach
of children.
• Clean the thermometer probe thoroughly before
and after each use.
• Never immerse the units in water or any other
type of liquid, or expose them to rain.
• Do not subject the units to hot surfaces or
high temperatures.
• Don't expose the probe or its cable to
naked flames.
• Never use the thermometer in a microwave oven.
