Engine Air Cleaner Filter Inspection And
Replacement
Inspect engine air cleaner filters for dirt and or
debris; if you find evidence of either dirt or
debris you should change your engine air
cleaner filters.
NOTE:
The beauty cover will need to be removed to
access the engine air cleaner filter.
Engine Air Cleaner Filter Removal
1. With a suitable tool, fully loosen (ten)
fasteners on the engine air cleaner filter lid
and the air hose clamp.

1 — Engine Air Cleaner Filter Cover
2 — Back Fasteners
3 — Front Fasteners
4 — Air Hose Clamp
SERVICING AND MAINTENANCE
2. Lift the engine air cleaner filter cover to
access the filter.
NOTE:
Clean the area of any loose debris before lifting
the air cleaner filter cover to prevent any
contamination of the clean side of the air inlet
system.
