Although there are many similarities among the
MegaRAC G3, G2 and G2 Lite, each one has distinct
features that separate it from the others.
MegaRAC G2 Lite
• Mid-range, lowest-cost service processor from the
MegaRAC family
• Ideal solution for customers who do not need or want
all of the features provided by the MegaRAC G2 or G3,
such as modem, video, graphics, virtual floppy/CD-ROM
and optional battery backup support
• Ideal for headless appliances, such as Network At-
tached Storage (NAS)
• A match for customers whose requirements do not
allow additional PCI plug-in cards (for a daughter card)
