AMI BIOS Displayed Error Messages

Errors are displayed in the following format:
ERROR Message Line 1
ERROR Message Line 2
Press <F1> to RESUME
followed by
Press the <F1> key to continue
The system does not halt if Wait for <F1> If Any Error in
Advanced CMOS Setup is Disabled. If a second message
appears, it is:
RUN SETUP UTILITY.
If this message occurs, press <F1> to run BIOS Setup.

Replace cache memory chips.
Gate A20 on the keyboard controller (8042) is not working.
Replace the 8042.
An error occurred in the address decoding circuitry on the Base
Board.
The BIOS is not receiving a response from drive C:. The drive may
be missing. If the drive is present, run the Hard Disk Utility to
correct this problem. Also, check the C: hard disk type in Standard
CMOS Setup to make sure that the hard disk drive type is correct.
Hard disk drive C: does not respond. Replace the drive.
Cache memory on the CPU Card is defective. Cache memory may
have to be replaced.
Most AT motherboards include two timers. There is an error in
timer 2.
CMOS RAM is powered by a battery. The battery power is low.
