Step 9 Perform Initial Test and Configuration Review the following before powering up the system: make sure that all adapter cards are seated properly, make sure all connectors are properly installed, if the math coprocessor is used, make sure it is seated properly, make sure there are no screws or other foreign material on the motherboard, plug the system into a surge-protected power strip, and make sure blank back panels are installed on the back of the chassis to minimize RF emissions. -
