St ep 3: Set up Password if needed. Password is only using t o act ivat e a
securit y feat ure on t he serial serv er. Once a password is ent ered it will
be required t o access t he m enu and m ak e change of configurat ion
when access.
Please writ e down t he Serial num ber and MAC address, t hese t wo param et ers are
necessary w hen user forget your password.
St ep 4: Set up according t o your POS or Cash Regist er. Usually all devices are
default set t ing, y ou can reserv e y our t im e t o pass t his st ep.
St ep 5: Please r e s t a r t / r e set t he box aft er changing configurat ions t o act iv e
set up.
To reset t he unit m anually apply power, insert a sm all plast ic t ool, and
press light ly depressing reset locat ed bet ween t he swit ch. Hold for 3
seconds and release. The Link and Run light will go out and t urn back
on. The SCB- C31A will rev ert t o t he last set t ing.
Every t im e you change t he configurat ion of SCB- C31, please check above set t ing,
especially m axim um connect ion and Rem ot e I P address t o avoid connect i on fail.
