To connect Cash Regist er, Print er, and SCB- C31A POS dat a capt ure conv ert er
t oget her, please follow below st eps:
St ep 1: Please refer t he user m anual t o set up Cash Regist er and print er.
St ep 2: Using a " Y- shape" DB- 9 cable, one DB- 9 fem ale connect t o POS
sy st em and one DB- 9 m ale connect t o t he receipt print er Y- shape
( provided by Print er vendor) .
St ep 3: Using anot her DB- 9 fem ale connect t o SCB- C31A POS Dat a Capt ure
R232/ Et hernet conv ert er wit h Null m odem .
There are t wo kinds of serial cable: St raight pass- t hrough and Null- Modem . The
connect ion bet ween SCB- C31 POS Dat a capt ure box and Y-cable m ust be null m odem
( in package) .
St ep 4: Check t he sy st em swit ch of t he SCB- C31A is swit ched t o OFF- OFF
posit ion.
St ep 5: Connect SCB- C31A wit h power source.
St ep 6: Connect SCB- C31A wit h int ernet port by RJ45 LAN cable.
