tilt, zoom and focus settings. The dome supports
up to 64 presets when used on a Manchester
network.
To program presets, do the following:
1. Ensure that your camera controller is in
programming mode. Refer to your controller
documentation for additional information.
2. Adjust the position of the dome until you see
the scene that you want to program. Adjust the
zoom, focus, and iris settings if necessary.
3. Use the numeric keypad on the camera
controller to enter the number (1-64) of the
preset you are programming, then press Set
Preset.
For example, to program Preset 12, you would
press, 1 , 2 , then Set Preset.

Calling Presets

To display the preset, do the following:
1. Select the monitor where you want the preset
appear.
2. Use the numeric keypad on the camera
controller to enter the preset number (1-64),
then press Call Preset.
Defining Patterns
A pattern is a sequential series of pan, tilt, zoom,
and focus movements from a single programmable
dome. You "teach" the dome a combination of
these movements that can be replayed
automatically. The dome supports up to three
patterns using presets 70, 71, and 72. To program
a pattern, do the following:
1. Ensure that your camera controller is in
programming mode. Refer to your controller
documentation for additional information.
2. Move the dome to the starting point of the
pattern. Adjust the zoom, focus, and iris
settings if necessary.
3. Use the keypad to enter the number associated
with the pattern ( 70 , 71 , or 72 ), then press Set
Preset.
4. Move the camera around to create the pattern.
Note : If you make a mistake while
programming the pattern, enter 68 , then press
Set Preset. This ends the pattern without saving
it. Return to step 1 to start programming again.
5. When you complete the pattern, press 69 , then
Set Preset to save the pattern.
