7. Init File
This section provides a description of the init_file.inf . Figure 20 shows an example of the file. All
lines with the hash (#) symbol indicates a comment. The target_device followed by a number indicates the
default device selected when the application GUI is started. The target_mode followed by a number indicates
the default mode when the application GUI is started. The key field is used with devices that support keys.
The key is used with the ISC_TEST_REQ message, and the correct key must be supplied, or the device will
not function properly. Please refer to the Message Protocol document, section 5.8.1.4, for an explanation on
the alternative audio close field. AAC and ADPCM files may be scrambled with the key mentioned above.
To play scrambled AAC and ADPCM files, set the value associated with descramble in descramble field to 1.
Set it to 0 to play unscrambled AAC and ADPCM files. It is used to set the appropriate field in the
ISC_AAC_CONFIG_REQ and ISC_SPCODEC_CONFIG_REQ messages. Please reference the Message
Protocol document for more information.
