ITEM NO.: 1009666
INTENDED USE
The product is designed as an inspection camera for the endoscope main unit BS-1000T (not
included, can be ordered separately) and is suited for visual troubleshooting or inspection of
long pipelines and voltage-free systems and installations.

infinitely variable).
The waterproof camera neck and head are ideal for use in voltage-free liquids (no acidic or
basic solutions). Use on persons or animals as well as in potentially explosive areas is not

OPERATION
Hold the camera neck and head only in voltage-free liquids.
Do not submerge the camera neck past the marking MAX Water Level.
The endoscope is suited for inspection only in voltage-free systems.
The camera head is made of metal and can cause a short circuit without the
protective cap.
For safety reasons, make sure all system components are voltage-free before
inspection.
Avoid heavy mechanical loads and/or vibrations.
Do not exceed the minimum bending radius of 10 cm.
a) Connecting/changing the endoscope camera
1. Connect the endoscope camera to the
corresponding socket on the endoscope
main unit. Ensure correct alignment. The
hollow part of the endoscope camera's
plug should fit into the protruding part of
the main unit's socket.
2. Make sure that the socket is aligned to the
pins on the plug. An arrow is imprinted to
the socket. The arrow must point toward
the display of the endoscope main unit.
3. Fasten the camera by turning the screw
cap clockwise.
4. Unfasten the camera by turning the screw
cap counter clockwise.
b) Fastening the device to the sliding reel
1. Insert the endoscope main unit into the bracket on the top of the sliding reel.
2. Fasten the endoscope main unit using the fastening screw.
3. Fasten the plug to the main unit (see previous sub-chapter).
4. For disassembly, repeat the steps in the reverse order.
c) Using the sliding reel
• The open-ended hook should only be used to safely store the camera head. Remove the
camera from the hook before use to prevent damage to the camera neck.
• Make sure that the coiled connection cable can not enter the inner part of the sliding reel.
• Insert the endoscope camera slowly into the pipeline you wish to inspect. Pull slowly and
carefully on the camera. Handling too quickly or with too much force may result in damage
to the camera.
• Do not pull on the camera forcibly.
• After you finish your inspection work, carefully push the camera back into the reel. Do not
turn the reel, but rather push the endoscope camera back carefully to prevent damages.
• Replace the camera head on the hook to prevent transport damage.
